I have launched a clip on my YouTube Channel in which I talk about my own experience of Keratoconus. The total clip length is just over 2 minutes and I do realise that I leave more unsaid than I actually say. Still it would be good to have some feedback from the real experts in KC (those of us who live with it personally or whose family live with it).

I have put a link to the forum in the video notes.

I'm sorry, I don't know what the problem was there; I can confirm that the video is now viewable at

That was my fault, Lea. I put the wrong address on my previous (and now deleted) post.

Chapter 2 is at

Andrew that was fab to see you! what a great idea, I reckon more members should do this, speak on specific issues too such as cornea donation so that people can grasp what it entails, and address myths. Also lenses and glasses and part-time partial sight syndrome!

I think in addition to producing KC vids there should be KC Oscars/BAFTA's for them, we could have an award ceremony.

Suggestions for further vids [of the alternative non serious variety]:

A 101 uses for a scleral lens [frisby/drinking liquers]

I'd like to produce one on verbal lens abuse of RGP's as anxiety management

Wrestling and scleral insertion [Ken needs to produce that one].

Novel answers and cruel and unusual methods of violence for 'can't you wear glasses?' moments

How to clear the room when you've dropped a lens

Gurning for lens pain..
