Hello Geraldine, and welcome to the forum!

I wouldn't take the "Forbidden" message on KCenter personally. It means that their administrator has turned off the site. Possibly because of a dispute with the ISP, or maybe they just didn't pay the bill on time!

How long ago was your graft? It's possible that you just need a new prescription for glasses/contacts.

I've also been trying in vain to get on the kcenter website. It seemed very well used,
does anyone know if it's still operational?

I've just received my appointment for a graft on 6th Dec, so I need all the support I can get!

all I can say is it appears that http://www.KCenter.org has completely shut down

I do not know why and I have no idea if it will ever return..aww

all I can suggest is that you visit other good KC sites

I am sorry

You mean this one?

Seriously though, it looks as though the KCenter.org domain was purchased by "Go Daddy Software" on October 5th, so I suspect that the KCenter as we knew it is no more.

If anyone has any suggestions for content which used to be covered by KCenter which is not well covered by http://www.keratoconus-group.org.uk, please let me know.

Here are some suggestions:

Grab the kcenter.org domain if you can and redirect it here so people that go the looking can come here automatically.

Change UK to International. The problem are more or less the same every where :D

Great ideas, but alas:

  • The kcenter.org domain has already been purchased by the aforementioned "Go Daddy Software".
  • The charity which runs this website is based in the UK, and that's where our funding comes from, so naturally that's where our efforts are targetted. We rarely turn those from outside the UK away though.
