Hi there,

I just wanted to find out if there are any famous or well known people that are keratoconus patients?

I am not famous despite my picture having been in many motoring magazines and I can now be seen on DVD, but that is only if you are a fan of the Ford Capri! (Available now from Duke Video called 'Ford Capri'). :D

At work my picture is on the back of the companies monthly news letter raising awareness of KC and the information for employers the support group now have.

This may not count as fame, but apparently (Susan are you out there?), there is a US actor that was or is in a medical soap on satalite TV that has KC.

Applied for a TV show on Discovery Real Time, so who knows, I might be one small step away from stardom

I can dream.

Well I'm certainly not famous, but not to be outdone by Gareth....I did used to write the motoring column for my local/regional newspaper.

I had about 140,000 readers which I found daunting if I thought about it, and less so if I pretended to be writing something for myself. As I say, not famous, but a bit odd when someone you've not met before recognises your piccy and tells you they enjoyed or hated your piece.

As for my last published article...it was in the current Yeovil Town FC fanzine...On to Victory, far fewer readers but MUCH more fun!!!
