Greetings One and All.

We are about to do the Orlando thing - roller coasters and extreme rides, etc. :D

A genuine question - is it possible that CLs could be blown or shaken out ? The last thing we want is a holiday ruined by loosing my contact lens.

Any experiences?

Thanks

Chris

Hi

From experience I can say I havent had issues

Last August I went to Las Vegas and did the whole Helicopter things around the canyons etc...and also visited some other places and did the roller coaster things etc.

Think one of the body reactions is to close your eyes when on them..which for US is a good response lol.

However what I did was to take a spare contact lens as it would have been a disaster if I lost a lens out there and trying to get a new one!

I did Legoland with my daughter this year and the lenses were fine. The only time I took them out was for the log flume where the water looked a bit yucky and it could run into my eyes. They had regular first aid points that were well equiped and understood and gave me a proper medical office with anti bacterial wipes, soap, sink, clean work top where I could take my lenses out and put back in again.

Did keep my work safety glasses on all the time, but that is because they are the best thing for my light sensitivity.

Have fun.
Gareth
