CXL and Hazing

I have seen posts here that have described an element of hazing in the first week or so after having CXL done. My sister had CXL in mid July11 and still has some hazing 3 months after having CXL. Feels vision, without aid, is worse than before (3 lines on eye chart before and only 2 now). Anyone else have experience of hazing after such a time period? Consultant who checked last month (over 2 months after CXL procedure) said hazing is a sign of CLX working and she could be fitted with lenses.

However, optometrist that my sister saw did not think highly of CXL and thought hazing is affecting vision and did not want to fit lenses in case of risk of infection etc. Suggested may need steroid drops??? No medication is being taken for the hazing at the moment. Should my sister be concerned? Next consultant appointment in not until next year.

Thanks in advance.

Was this epi-off? I have read that hazing is very common , and reduces with time
