I work in a convenience shop which sells allsorts of day to day items. As part of my duty I have to do date check all grocery items. My frustration is at the size of the print on each grocery item, I have been told by doctors that I see at Bristol Eye Hospital that there have been campaigns to try and get food labelling to be more legible.

I agree, and should also include the ingredient list

My husband is diabetic and my son has been severely allergic to all nuts since he was 3. Checking the labels has always been a nightmare for me but is critical as it could literally mean the difference between life and death.

Fortunately my daughters are now of an age where they can read enough to double check the ingredient list for me, but personally i dont feel they should have such a responsibilty on their shoulders

Irealise label sizes are limited but surely something could be done to make things easier
