Went to see the consultant yesterday 14 months post graft and its not giveng the desired vision and reduced astigmatism and they couldnt understand why.

So they are looking at possibly either another operation or laser to correct the astigmatism and high shortsightedness.

go in a few weeks to have stitches out in theatre as well.

Now my other eye vision etc is getting worse. gone up from -12 to - 18

The frustration of needing futher surgory post transplant is one I know all too well, as I have the pre op for some stuff on the 26th.

Originally, bwhen we made the decision to go ahead with grafts, my opthomologist had expected to have to do further ops to reduce the shortsight.

To me that is part of the process of gaining decent sight.
