Hi Matt and welcome. We've currently got a thread on the forum about waiting times for grafts so can I ask how long you've been told your wait is likely to be?

As it stands at the moment ive been on the waiting list since the 24th December and they told me the wait would be anywhere between 4 and 8 months. Im under Proffessor Dua at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham if anyone else has had a graft there or even by the same person?

Matt, I am afraid that I am in Glasgow, so can't help you there. Nonetheless, welcome to the forum.

Hi Matt,

Have you considered or discussed the possibility of Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking yet?

It may well be that the KC has progressed so far that a graft is the only option but it is worth finding out if there are any alternatives first.
Even if it is too late to cross-link your weakest eye, it may be appropriate to consider cross-linking treatment for your stronger eye to try and
prevent it deteriorating further.

Kind regards

Anthony
