Wow, Elizabeth, there's a lot here.

Firstly, every good wish with your move to Torquay. Are you making a permanent move to the seaside?

Secondly, every good wish with with your return to sclerals. I hope you find your new lens comfortable. I am sure that you will find somebody in Torquay to whom your new hospital will refer you and who can dispense sclerals at the standard NHS rate.

Thanks for posting and sharing.

Elizabeth

That is wonderful news (about your marrying, not about your finding sclerals hard to get in).

You have brightened up my day!

As to your lenses; take your time. Inserting a scleral is not a race!

Every good wish

Elizabeth

As people move towards marriage they worry about all sorts of things. Money is one of them, but when we are used to being on our own we all get used to our own ways of doing things. Part of the adventure of living in partnership is that we get used to the other being part of our space; and I guess that includes working out how the combined resources of the two can be adapted to serve the needs of the new couple.

Yes, lenses are expensive, but the NHS provision makes them affordable.

All the best

Andrew
