Annabel

Welcome to the forum.

I am afraid I don't know about the availability of the Mac-G lens in the UK, but you can read about it at

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I've contacted that guy to enquire about them. Will paste it on here if I find anything out. Just wondering if anyone has them or knows more.
Best wishes

Hi all

I too contacted the manufacturer / distributor for this lens type -- here is the e-mail chain:

Chris---you are correct, the lens is not currently available in the UK. We will keep your email and let you know when available. Thank you for your interest.----Dr McGregor

Hi there

Having seen your product featured in the NKCF November Newsletter, I was hoping you might have some information on any distributors and/or physicians in the UK who are familiar with it ? Medical appliance approval here takes an age (our regulatory bodies make the FDA seem speedy !) but even if the Mac-G lens isn’t yet approved for general prescription, I would discuss with my current lens practitioner about starting a trial use.

This of course depends on the product being available here.

Any information you can provide greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Chris

Are there more informations about this lens (especially in keratoconus cases)? Google shows only the Mac-G lens website.

Hi,
Thanks I've only just seen these replies. We got the same reply when we emailed the maker. Difficult to know how good they are really without more information.
Best Wishes

Annabel
