Opticians in Huddersfield area

I am just moving to Huddersfield and will need to find a new optician for myself and my daughter to have contact lenses fitted. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have had very mixed experiences in the past as a keratoconus sufferer.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry, I don't know about Huddersfield, but there is sure to be someone along in a moment who does. I just wonder whether the local NHS Ophthalmology clinic has a contact lens clinic?

Hi there.

I'm in Outlane so not too far away.

Think you might struggle with this. There is a guy in Holmfirth who seems to be well thought of (on the list elsewhere on this site), failing that you may need to consider Leeds or Bradford.

I know I shouldn't say this (!) but if you do go to Leeds then please do be very careful.......................PM me if you wish!
