It may hurt for a little time, Elizabeth. Don't forget it has undergone surgery. Hopefully, the pain will not be too bad or last too long.

All the best

After i had my intacs op last month, my eye was hurting for best part of a week, and it was a good week before i could keep the eye open all day. Give yourself time and keep stocked up on paracetamol in the meantime

hi elizabeth,
it will hurt for a bit. and be sensitive to light. rest it and relax. perhaps listen to audiobooks if you can get hold of some- much easier to handle than TV

Elizabeth

I think that increased light sensitivity follows all kinds of eye surgery. If you are really worried about it you could pop back to the hospital to have your eye checked, otherwise I found lightly tinted glasses a huge benefit.

A good pair of sunglasses are definitely your best friend.
