Which Sun Glasses

I've just picked up my first pair of Rose K Lenses this week, and am building up the hours - up to 6 hours today. What a difference these can make. My far vision is almost perfect but I am having problems with reading and close stuff, I guess a small change to the prescription will help. I am a bit nervous wearing them outside in case I loose one - I have never worn any CL before.

My eyes appear to be even more sensitive to sun light and I can feel the wind across my eyes.

Can anyone recommend any sun glasses. There are so many on the market £20 to £200 - you can pick them up just about anywhere.

What should I be considering and is there any beneift from buying them from the optician or can I get away with a cheapy from Boots?

Thanks for any advise.

Chris.

Hi Chris

Good news for you about your lenses, it makes a real difference when you can start to see clearly (or clearer than before) again, doesn't it?

I too find that bright light and sunlight are now more of a problem for me than in the past however, for me as far as sun glasses go I have managed very well with a 'cheap' or 'budget' pair that I think I got from BHS a couple of years ago whilst on holiday in Jersey.

They are just basic plastic however, well tinted (AS I DONT DRIVE IN THEM THEY CAUSE ME NO PROBLEMS) and styled to wrap around the face quite a bit, which helps keep the wind out as well, which I also found didn't help me when I was out and about.

I know there have been some recent posts on sunglasses, oakley??? not very fashion orientated so may have this wrong.

No doubt others will post their experiences or if you go back over the last few weeks posts you may well find something.

best wishes

Susan
