Hi Marcus and welcome to the forum!
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question, but maybe someone else here will.
All the best

Hi Marcus

Medical products sold in the UK must comply with EU regulations and think these were updated about 10 years ago so that if a medical prodcut was cleared in one EU memberstae, then it could be used immediatly across all member states.

As Sweeden is a non-Eu member, it might be that a set of local country regulations need complying with and to do so may require a lot of work which will bring little finacial return for the manufacturer. It is for this very reason EU regulations were changed to allow a more unified medical approach across member states and to bring the costs of medical products down.

Hope this makes sense.
Gareth

Actually, it may just be they don't have a distributor there! I am afraid if they can't tell you no-one here can!

Hi Marcus,

I work for the UK distributer of SynergEyes. SynergEyes, including ClearKone, will start to become available for distribution in Europe in the near future I believe. I couldn't give you an exact date, but I know they'll be around in Switzerland in Jan/Feb, for example.

Sorry that's a bit vague, but I'm sure they will come to Sweden at some point soonish!!

Hi Sophie!

That sounds great. Must my Eye doctor, contact someone of the distributers or will you contact doctors who are interested of this lens? This information would be great, so I can bring it forward to my eye doctor.

No, just because a group of Optometrists over there have expressed an interest!

I really don't know about getting them in Sweden yet or how you make that happen, it might just be a waiting game I'm afraid....
