Piggy Backing Pro's and con's

I have today been for an appointment at the hospital clinic and would appreciate some feedback.
I have been using flexi Edge lenses ( hybri type ) in both eyes, but in the right eye ( my good one ) we cant seem to get a good enough fit and my lower eye lid is lifting the soft skirt.
It has now been decided that I will revert back to the RGP lens using the piggy back system, as I simply can't get sufficent wearing time although the vision is superb.
I know some of you on here use this system so any pointers would be appreciated.
Also on the left eye, due to the steepness of the cone, the flexi edge lens had to be fitted very tightly to stop it catching the lower eye lid, but is very sore after a long days wear.
As always any advice appreciated.
Thanks,
Fordy
