Postby been » Fri 02 Oct 2009 7:48 pm

Hi everyone

Well the day is just around the corner - I will be going in for my graft on Monday, I know it needs to be done, but I am so anxious about it,. to the point where I am having panic attacks - I'm so worried about pain - Just hope it all goes well - I will let you all know how it goes.

Love, Shabeena x

All the very best Shabeena. We'll be thinking of you. And I'm sure you'll be back here telling us it's all gone well and you wonder why you were so worried about it all!

Hi Shabeena

I had my graft 8 months ago and there is not a lot of pain. In fact the only pain I had was a headache after the surgery. Not sure whether you have been reading my blog but if you haven't take a look at it. If you scroll to the bottom and then click 'older posts' you will eventually get to the day of the surgery and the subsequent weeks. Don't woory yourself about the last couple of months as this is unique to me due to lid margin disease, you probably won't have this. My address is http://www.mycorneatransplant.blogspot.com.

All the best for the graft and let us know how it went.

Very best wishes for tomorrow Shabeena. I had mine done 8 years ago, and, having been very anxious about it, I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it went. Let us know how things go once you're feeling up to it.
