Firstly i just wanted to apologise for posting badly, i know it was wrong but i just wanted to post what i felt strongly about.
Anyway ... enough said, that isnt what i wanted to say!
Im sorry if i sound naive here, ,and i guess i should know, but honestly havent got the eyesight to look it up right now. But how exactly is this board run? And who owns it? I know it says admin on the post stuck at the top, but who is that? And if we have any problems posting who are we meant to conract? And also are there any moderators here who oversee posts?? (Sorry John retake, i know you are a moderator!LOL!!) I guess i havent been here long enough to work it all out yet, thanks.
I know, i should know this but i guess i joined in all fairness not expecting to have to know. Hehe, i guess i dont really need it now as it is all sorted, but lately im getting philosophical in my old age lmao and im asking loads of questions!
Thanks ... a curious sweetie X x X
Can i ask a ? about forum please

Hi Claire,
Admin? That's me - I end up posting under that user when I forget to log out and in again after doing some work on the site...
Any problems posting, you can contact me... via PM here, or as webmaster@keratoconus-group.org.uk (john@roundel.net is shorter, and works just as well!)
The forum is run on behalf of the UK Keratoconus self-help and support group - a UK registered charity. We're generally a happy bunch of self-helpers, but recently, a private argument has spilt over into the public domain, and as trustees, we are legally obligated to avoid this sort of thing, among others. That's why a few posts have been removed and we need to take a deep breath and put things behind us.
Chat soon,

I'd just like to add to what John said - the Keratoconus Group is not only web based. We have a postal membership of over 800 members. Everyone on the postal mailing list receives our regular newsletters and other publications such as a booklet about KC and the booklets of the talks given at our conferences (2001 and 2003) which include a lot of useful information. We also organise regular members meetings in London, Birmingham and Glasgow. So if you'd like to join the mailing list, please e-mail me on anneklepacz@aol.com and I'll send you our introductory pack of information. Good luck in Wales!
Anne
