Dry Eyes

Hi Everyone

I have been a bit quiet for what seems a long time (sorry!). Work and social life has been very busy!

I have had two abrasions in the last 10 months but apart from that, I have been okay with my lenses.

Unfortunately, over the last few weeks I have really suffered with dry eyes. At work I have a new desk which is just under an air con vent and it is playing havoc with my lenses! Plus I am freezing so that I cant even put my humidifier on to help with the lenses as that will definitely turn me into an ice cube! I have been struggling with my glasses during the day for the last few weeks but when I try to wear my lenses later in the day, I can only manage a few hours because they have become so dry. Not being able to wear my lenses is also inducing headaches.

I am going to move desks shortly so I think that will solve the problem. Just having a bad eye day, feeling frustrated at not being able to see properly and needed to vent with people who understand!

Do you use any sort of artificial tear to irrigate your dry eyes? I use clinitas soothe. I get it on line from these people

or I think Postoptics carry clinitas products as well

All the best, and it is good to see you back.

I had that with an air con unit once.
I made a fuss at work and they moced me.
Hope you can shift to your nw desk soon and that fixes it.
