Tom suggested this idea last year, though it didn't come to anything then. Thought I'd try again and see how many people in the London area would be interested.
Date - Saturday 1st August, time 2.30 onwards
Venue - St James's Park by the bandstand
The committee are having a meeting that morning so at least some of us would be around. Would anyone else care to join us?

Lou, bring your sister along.
Committee will be along provided they finish on time
Will see what I can do, might make a day of it and take the familly round the science museum first.
The Dr Who fans could always come to Coventry for the Dr Who Exhibition at the Coventry Motor Museum.

Re: KC picnic in the park?
I'll be coming! So shall we just bring whatever food to share?
Gareth do you want me to bring the Dalek or K9 for your daughter to play with?! Although neither will roll across the grass they can still flash lights and speak. My Dalek is about 12" high and K9 about 9", they quite big! I also have a sonic screwdriver.
Any trekkies? I got trek gadgets too..and costumes...oh dear....

Lou, I'll have to let you know next week if we can defo make it so you don't lug loads Dr Who about the place, but I'm sure Gemma would love it. I need to see what my wife has planned as this is the day after her 10th birthday.
Don't think I'll be wearing the 70's gear I was wearing last weekend, the leather trousers were a bit hot in the sun
