My Post Graft Update

Well it has been three months since I underwent a full thickness graft and I have had no complications so far. The vision continues to fluctuate day by day. I suppose the greatest moment was when I looked up at the night sky and was once again able to see our beautiful milky way galaxy in all its glory
I can now read street signs too, which is awesome. It seems that when I turn my head at different angles the vision improves; must be related to certain parts of the cornea settling quicker than the rest.
One question to all you post graft people, when is it acceptable to go swimming again? I swin at a local HEATED pool, so am a little concerned about microorganisms infecting the eye, but I know my epithelial tissue is now fully healed and the cornea is now sealed so the risks would be quite low. What have your surgeons told you about this issue??
Anyway, I am extremely happy with my corneal transplant and hope any of you facing it has as much success as I have had, or better yet, more! I really do think it is worth the risk, if you have a faulty part that is utterly useless, replace it. Just make sure you have a decent surgeon.
Y'all take care
