Hi Daniel,

I've moved this message from the "Playpen" group to the general discussion forum. I'm sure you'll get some friendly advice here, but pretty much nobody reads the Playpen!

Daniel...

There are two separate issues here - your vision and your allergies/infections.

It is impossible for anyone here to guess why you have blurry vision in your lenses - this may be simply they need refitting or re-powering or they may be protein coated due to secretions in your tears.

Repeated infections may be due to abrasions from your lenses and it is very tricky trying to sort allergies at a distance!

The person to talk to about this is your contact lens parctitioner. In actual fact - he will know a good deal about infections and allergies as optoms have to deal with them during fitting of lenses. However, he will not be able to prescribe medication.

When was the last time you saw him/her and what were you told about your lenses? perhaps we can help if you give us more information...

Lynn

Hello Daniel and welcome to the board...have you gone to see your GP at all for advice....and if you did...what did they say...

About contact lenses...try to get some advice face to face from your eye care specialst and also go to one who specialises with KC as much as you can, usually its when they see alot of patients like in the bigger hospitals...

Sorry i could not help more

Warmest Regards
