Hello people question on eye drops

hello people i just had operation in my eye i am using eye drops as I put my eye drops few minutes later i can taste it in my mouth is that normal have I put the eye drop correctly

Hi, Yeah thats normal..they run into your tear ducts and down the back of your throat I think. Dont know if its avoidable..good excuse to eat nice tasting things after putting them in tho!

Yes, I'm afraid that Sophie's right. Afraid, because most eye drops I've had taste really nasty!

The only solution I've found is not to overdo it on the dropping front, and to wipe away any excess tears a minute or so after the drop.

Nasty surprise though, isn't it!

You can try and stop the drops going down the tear ducts by squeezing either side of your nose, just below the corners of your eyes, immediately after putting the drops in.
