Hello All,

I've had KC for 20 years now and I see quite well with my RPG lenses. I stumbled accross the centre for sight web site and I have read all about Ferrara Rings, and it has taken my intrest

I have an appointment this Friday with Mr Daya at the London office of Centre for Sight just for a consultation.

Has anyone else had experience of this place or of Ferrara rings?

Thanks
Pete

I am currently being looked after Sheraz Daya and he will be performing my graft. From the research I did he comes well recommended, is very able and is highly respected in the arena...(as are others)

They seem professional enough but then you get what you pay for so its fair comment.

If you do a search on his name youll find his CV basically which shows his background and what he has done to date and his involvement with KC

Hope that helps

No experience of either...except to say that My Specialist did talk to me about F rings last time he saw me.

Now - you say you can see well with RGP's, that sounds very like me. My vision is excellent with my RGP's.

The impression I got from the specialist was that F rings might be an option but a long way 'down the track' so if you are anything like me then I'd guess this might be some way off for you too?

Please let us know how you get on though!

I went to see Mr Daya last Friday in London. Had a thourough examination and then discussed the options. I explained that although I can see quite well with my lenses in, I am getting increasinlgy frustrated with having to have them in all day and my tolerance to them is weakening.

Ferrara rings were discussed and I am really tempted to go for them.

We're having a new baby in July and it would be nice to be able to get up during the night and put on a pair of specs to make sure I'm putting the bottle in the right end.Ferrara Rings are a defintite choice and I'll have to think long and hard about it.

I know what you mean about the baby thing....I had a baby boy last Tuesday.....but mind you I have got up in the nite to feed him, go about the house holdng him etc...as funny enough I can see really well in the dark...when compared to light without lenses!!!..
