Hi am new here to the forum but have had KC for about 10 years(28 now).
It is very advanced. I am currently wearing Rose K2 lenses but am due for a change of lens on friday. Apparently Accuity are doing some new ones. (anyone know of them)
what i wanted advice on is eye drops. I have been using sno tears for ages but its not working now. Are there any other drops i could use.
I do have scarring and abrasions on my eye and it is quite painful, blurry etc
Thanks

Hi Michelle
Can I ask how advanced your KC is?
How did you get on with the Rose K 2 lenses as I am about to try them out....what is your vision with and without them?

Hi Michelle...
Try Systane drops - they are much better than Sno tears which is hypromellose. Hypromellos eis a wetting agent only while Systane forms a gel on the eye which lasts for much longer and can help immensely with scarred areas...

I need to second that as i am only just trying Systne out again after years of pain, and while it is not perfect it is getting better! It lasts a LOT longer than normal eye drops and my lens isn't as painful when i put it in.
Hope this helps you too! Take care

Hi JayUk
The Rose K2 lens i found was difficult to fit right, i had to spend a lot of time manipulating my eyes to get it to fit right to be comfortable.
They are smaller than the ordinary Rose K.
It did settle down and i had fairly good vision with them.
They have only lasted 6 months though as i need a change.
