UPDATE ON MY KC

Postby helen jones » Mon 27 Oct 2008 2:43 pm

Hello to all!,

Been a while since I last wrote on this forum, as I have finally returned to the working world! Just wanted to let everyone know my positive response to my CXL operations and intacs. Both have been very successfull and I am almost a year on now from having all my surgery. My vision couldn't be better. With my new kerasoft lenses I am gaining 6:9 vision in my left and 6:12 in my right which is a HUGE improvement. I never thought I would ever be able to see that well again. So I just want to say a big thankyou to the studies and research that surgeons have put into helping preventing the progression of keratoconus, because without them I wouldn't have the vision I have today , so thankyou. And thankyou to all the support I have gained from people on this forum. I wish all of you the best of luck with your KC, and hope that you can share your responses with me to.

Thanks

Helen
