Where is the nearest eye casualty to Central London, I was wondering as it looks like I will be spending some time working there (a few months) and wondered where I would go if I was caught out?

When I worked in Stevenage back in the mid 90's I had a need for eye casualty. I went to the normal A&E and as soon as I mentioned grafts they stuck me in an abulance and took me to Moorfields.

I have been told by the eye unit in Coventry that if I can't get to them, get to my local hospital in Rugby and they will get me to the eye unit specialists.

Moorfields in the obvious answer - 5 minutes walk from Old St tube, exit 8, follow the green line up the stairs and along the pavement to the A&E entrance.
Take a book..... or several.
St THomas's also do eyes, I gather, including grafts, and allegedly their being overshadowed by their more-famous near-neighbour is not a reflection on their capabilities. A&E I'v enot experienced.
Near Waterloo on south bank.
Hope you don't have see to omuch of either.
