My -6.5 right eye got used to glasses in that I would get one image after a month or so. The only problem was the distortion that was left due to the other problems on that eye. Could not get better than 6/20 on a good day which is why that eye is reliant on a contact lens.

Yes. Dr Rameash thinks that once the all the sutures are out and things are stabilised, there should be no problem. That's why he avoided a full-thickness graft, which apparently is less suited to those of us of the aquatic persuasion! I still have a long wait ahead of me as I will need the right eye grafting too but things are moving nicely and in the meanwhile the Navy is doing a good job of keeping me occupied. :lol:

We are going to bless another DSRV in December; maybe you could use the comfort of a climate-controlled submersible while you are waiting to get back into your dry-suit?
