Ummm...being a bit IT illiterate...can anyone tell me how to access private messages on here??

Hi Paul,
If you have a private message from someone, there will be a link in the email that notifies you. Click on that link, (and enter your password if asked) and you'll be browsing your private messages in no time!

Not just yet - I never actually intended to use that particular feature, but people seem to have found it anyway.
The link to read your personal messages will be going up in the next main site upgrade, probably in the next few weeks.

Thanks, I was begining to think I was going loopy as I could't find a way to them from the main page either.

hi, if you go to your profile and change the board setting to "athena", you can see a menurunning across the top of the page on the forum. there is a link to your private messages there. although the board is then set to"normal" print not large print
