BLEPHARITIS

Postby mike » Thu 10 Jul 2008 8:44 pm

I have been wearing RGPs for a number of years. I have been diagnosed with Blepharitis during my last visit at moorfields. It would be interesting to hear from other people with the same problem

The edge of the RGP can irritate your lower eyelid, leaving it open to bacterial invasion and the development of blepharitis. Did they suggest any remedy? I used to be given eye-drops that cleared it up in no time at all. When I stepped up to my scleral the problem of blepharitis disappeared like snow off a wall.
