UK Keratoconus Self-Help and Support Association

I have had KC for over 20 years. i am now wearing 2 pairs of lenses which have corrected the vision adequately for the left eye but not the right. I hear lots of things about the Intacs and now the Ferrara Rings ( i think that's how they are spelt). BUT so far have not seen anything posted here from people who have had the operations. There must be somebody in this forum who has had this. Was it a success or horror?

I am due to have Intacs placed in my right eye on 18/05, I have had a graft on my left eye and apparently they have been big success, fortunatly I have had no issues with my transplant but there is a need for a transplant in my right eye, but we are giving this a go first.
