If you can't bear to look at yourself in the morning........

.........because the bathroom light is TOO BRIGHT, I have a solution! I bought a dimmer light pull cord. It has revolutionised my mornings, as I like to have a bath before work and can now do so in the lovely, keratoconus friendly dimness. It can be quite romantic on an evening too. Just a suggestion !*?

Thanks for the tip!
Seriously, photophobia is a big problem for lots of us and anything that can help us get through the beginning of a day is very welcome.

Had to laugh at this one!!
In my old flat I had 'plane landing lights' going down the passage that led to the bathroom so I could get there in the night without having to put the light on. Looked like a landing strip, but worked really well as they were blue LED's which shone across a wooden laminate floor. In the bathroom I had 6 tea-lights in holders especially for the morning shower which I could light and gave enough light to see which didn't hurt my eyes. The bathroom itself had no window as a small internal room so this was a life-saver!
Having now moved, I have bought a Glade plug in light for the landing to get me to the bathroom without the dreaded bright landing light and in my bedroom I have lights underneath my furniture which glow across the floor...again saving me having to put any lights on in the night or in the morning when I am getting dressed etc.
Seriously, don't knock it til you try it...it works wonders!!
