Hi Anne.
I'm sorry to see you are having a lousy time and wish you a speedy recovery.
Sorry not to be able to send you any fancy cyber presents.

Please have a listen to my daughter, if you have a spare moment, on www.myspace.com/emmaparnes. She also wrote the songs.

Anne
Not got conjunctivitus, but my glands and sinuses are inflamed due to cold so have many of symptoms you describe.
Cheeks, nasal area and neck are quite swollen at the moment!

Re: Conjunctivitus
Just to let you know i am all better, feelimg tip top
Still fuming at the treatment i got a eye casulty why do some Dr's have to be sooooo rude?
The Dr i saw looked at my eye for all of about 2 seconds put in a drop of yellow dye stuff dabbed my eye with a tissue so hard she nearly knocked me of the stool gave me chloremfenicol eye ointment which i am allergic to and told me to come back next wednesday but if i was better than don't bother.

Makes me so cross. I always thought you joined the medical profession because you wanted to help people not to leave them feeling like shit!!!!!!

Phew, Anne
Isn't this a great place to come when you need to get something off your chest?
Seriously, I think it is unforgivable for Doctors to treat their patients with anything other than respect and dignity. Your experience sounds dreadful. Did you make a complaint?

Re: Conjunctivitus
No i didn't complain i was secretly hoping that the treatment wouldn't work then i could have gone back and let rip. But it did so i suppose she did a good job in the end.
I was really mad that she prescribed me the ointment that i am allergic to as i had to pay 6. 75 for it.
If anyone needs any cloremphenicol ointment give me a shout and i will post it to you

I must point out that the passing on of prescription medication even if it is unused is discouraged by the committee and trustees of the KC support group.
All unused medication should be taken to your local pharmacy for the appropriate safe disposal.
