Thank you for the interesting link. I read the information carefully, however I couldn't find exact info about if they do c3 procedure to patients or if it is still in research status. By the way Doctor Boxer Wachler has responded by himself in kcenter.org, forums, research and development, c3-r treatment topic.

Best regards,
Valeri

Hi Valeri,
I think you can have it done in germany (being the nearest place to us) as someone from the german forum has gone to get it done.

Thanks for your input...very interesting...Dr Boxer seems to be one of the very few who seems to be trying to make a differance...

Warmest Regards

I think I read about that german guy who said he was going to join the program, but it sounded to me like the German scientists are still doing research and it is not routine procedure yet. However it is worth trying... tomorrow I am going to Thessaloniki, Greece to visit an optometrist called Dimos Boufidis. he is the nearest dealer of Rose K lens. I hope the Rose K will turn to be what they say they are ...

I think it is a good lot to wait several months before trying this c3-r procedure, hoping that it will get officially approved, and more widely accepted. Anyway, unless I find something really discouraging about it I am determined to try it. Probably near the end of this year. If I can't do it in Germany why not fly to to dr. Wachler...

Hi Valeri....I know that they where doing x-linking in mexico and germany before it got to the states. On Dr Boxers site he quote eurpoean studies that show good results...its used in the states as an "experimental/investigational" treatment at the moment. Someone can have it done if they choose to.

The german site says that there is 5 and half years of good follow up results (and they say that means to them that KC has stopped progressing...that I think is really good news !)

Anyway hope the Rose k lenses to the trick for you now and hopfully progress in other areas continues at a steady pace:).

To be consistent I am reporing about the trip to Greece:

Just back from Thessaloniki,

They have really cool equipment and knowledge about K. The optometris is really experienced. The keratometer showed the center of the eye is lower... They used the Rose K test kit and got my vision perfectly corrected. Now I will be waiting for the lens for two weeks... will report again when I have more experience.

Cheers

Valeri
