My sight has changed quite a bit since having my stitches out in July my Astigmatism is higher and i was starting to struggle with the glasses that i have.
But last saturday i went to my opticians for a eye test and i got 6/9 with correction. We decided to leave changing my glasses untill it was stable over a couple of weeks. So went back today and my astigmatism has dropped by a half degree and i got 6/9 again! wow . still can't change my glasses untill it has settled down but i am going back to opticians for weekly check ups.
Can't wait to get left eye grafted in October that one is not so good at 6/120!!!!
Just thought i would share my good news, i really can't believe how well things have gone for me after all that worry about having a graft it has made such a huge difference to my life. sorry i will stop now i'm getting emotional

Absolutely brilliant Anne.
I remember only too well how worried you were and what a hard decision it was for you.
Well , you certainly made the right decision, with a little help from your friends

Please have a listen to my daughter, if you have a spare moment, on www.myspace.com/emmaparnes. She also wrote the songs.

Anne,
That is fantastic news!! It is really nice to come here and read something positive!! I love my graft as well after all the stress I had in getting it done!
I get 6/15 with my grafted eye and 6/6 with the other. I told my surgeon that I am more than happy with this, I was only ever planning to get to driving standard at 6/12 so it is great!
Take care and hoping that your sight continues to be good!!

Hi Anne,
That really is wonderful news! I'm so pleased for you.
I only hope that my sight is as good when my eye heals.

Re: I Love My Graft
Went back to opticians today still getting 6/9 but my astigmatism is still changing, it has settled down a bit more and not changing by as many degrees as it was.
So fingers crossed for next week i may be able to order some new lenses for my glasses

That is really good news, Anne. I really hope that things work out; your astigmatism stabilizes and your specs give you the 6/9 vision you are entitled to expect.
