Ronald, Thank you for that. Actually now that you have reminded me, I think I ought to have known already that i needed to use the 'dat'. Unlike many other languages, English allows us to imply rather than state the relative or conjoining pronoun. Still, it is only by making mistakes that I can learn!
Echt, hoop ik dat de dingen binnenkort verbeteren, (Truly, I hope that things improve soon).

Re: Just had uv crosslinking in Brussels but my epithelium....
Ronald,
It is quiet common in any eye surgery where the cornea ha to be breached in some way that it is left sensitive for a while.
Perhaps as yours took longer than normal that the irritation will linger longer when trying lenses again.
Hopefully it will pass.

Re: Just had uv crosslinking in Brussels but my epithelium....
Hi all,
It is going better since this weekend, yesterday 5 hours of scleral lens, and today is going "pretty" good as well, so I will try 6 to 7 hours depending on the daily progress. The vision is back at 90% I think with the scleral (almost the 90+ which it was), so that's not bad. Hopefully I can get some good glasses fitted within a couple of weeks which should give nearly the same vision as the scleral so I have the choice bewteen glasses and scleral...I keep my fingers crossed.
Regards,
Ronald
