[Video] CCL

Postby Vincent » Sat 28 Jul 2007 10:39 am

Hello,

Pass away if you are sensitive! Here another video on the cross-linking procedure (no sound). The first part shows the differents procedures employed when an abrasion of the epithelium is practised by the surgeon. Approximately 12 minutes.

Amitiés
Vincent

Thanks for the post, Vincent.

Very interesting, even if gruesome!

Hi Vincent,
Thank you very much for supplying us with this video... it allows so much more understanding when we can actually see the operation in progress.
By the way is that you that is being operated on? If so, how long have you had keratoconus? At what stage was your keratoconus when you decided on this treatment? What if anything had you been using to treat you keratoconus up to now?
Sorry for all the questions its just very interesting to get the perspective of a keratoconus patient that is outside of the english speaking countries that usually post here.

Regards,
Hari

I'm sorry Vincent but I know nothing about you and I cant read french. I have commented on the french forum some time ago but I don't believe I was talking to you (I used a online translator so it did not work out well :)) At the time I was angry about a childish attempt at humor posted there that ridiculed mini ARK and prof. Lombardi (If you dont already know he is the italian surgeon that developed mini ARK)... It was not Prof. Lombardi that I was worried about at the time it was the disrespect shown toward the patients who had made the decision to have mini ARK, I cannot imagine that cross-linking patients are now treated in the same fashion?

If you are saying that you are the person who made these cartoons then I'm sorry I still dont know anything about you personally.

So could you do me the favor of answering my questions as I wouldn't want to misinterpret what I read on the french forum.
Regards,
Hari
