Thanks, Karl.
Minor, it may be, but it was misleading. Corrected.

Re: New forum software
HI John
the new look is really impressive - it is much easier to read now I think.
I did have trouble whien I tried to login because i requested a new password which was sent to my e-mail account, which junked it (VERY RUDE). It has taken me several attempts over several hours to realise what was happening.
Those of us who can barely manage e-mail are completely in awe of what you do and so very grateful that you do it!

Re: New forum software
On my work computer running 2000 Service Pack 4 the pages don't load up right and take an age to appear.
Computers with XP at home and work are fine?

Re: New forum software
Rather strange... I'm now at work on a PC running the same operating system. The forum looks fine, and is as slow as every other page I look at from work is.
This means it is probably a local issue. Can you retry, Gareth and let me know if it's any better?

Re: New forum software
Forum downloads but not correctly.
If I hit the refresh then all is well as it should be until I go to the next page

I haven't been here for a while and I have to say I like the new layout. It is very clear and I can read the font
Well done John.

Re: New forum software
I find this much harder to look at, the font size is smaller, it's not as clear to me

John
We seem to have lost the "Coming events" moving message. Or am I looking in the wrong place........
Or if it is no longer, can we have a "London Group" section. (Just wondered if we have another social planned?)
And I have been unable to sus out what all the various symbols mean - can you point me in the right direction please?
Thanks
Pat

Re: New forum software
Pat,
The "ticker" showing forthcoming events is still on the site home page. It's temporarily missing from the forum home... it may well appear in the red bar on all forum pages, but that's proving a little difficult.
The next London social will be on September 9th.
As for the little symbols, I did think of putting a page up explaining them all. I will do now! Watch this space.

Hi Louise,
Thanks for your comments. I'm working on the problem. Hopefully, you'll see a font size increase soon.
