For the forum being unavailable (at best, access was intermittant) for the last few days. Everything should be OK now.

For the technically minded, the initial problem was with the server hardware - the network adaptor built-in to the motherboard failed; once I'd fixed that and got the machine back on the net, we caught a virus (anti santi worm) - thankfully, one that did more good than harm(!), so we're now also running an upgraded version of the forum software to protect ourselves from similar threats.

Please let me know at john@roundel.net if there are any other problems with the new software, and I'll tackle them as soon as I can.
