Shoayb

Where abouts in the North West are you? Which hospital are you waiting for?

I live in Bolton and waited ages for an initial appointment.

Fingers crossed for you.

Hi Folks,
FINALLY, i get seen by the hospital! didn;t help not having any records of my appt when i turned up though! at one point they even thought i forged the letter i had from my doctor about the appt!!!!
Well anyways, i did get seen, Topography done and all sorts of weird and wonderfull drops were used for various tests!
I hav enow been referred to a Contacts specialist for some contacts! Hoping he'll answer some of the questions i still have.!
Now, i was told by the doc at the hospital, my first pair of lenses will be paid for on NHS and then the rest won;t! anyone had any experiences with this?!?!
any advice on what i should ask the lens fitter!?!

Thanks
