Ouch....I know the feeling, but to be honest If you are going to watch Stoke, not wearing lenses will probalbly be a bonus

that was one of the things that the escellent bernie spoke about today: eyes need oxygen. over-wear your lenses one day and pay for it the next!
How did stoke get on?

Stokie,
Sorry to read that you were having problems with your lenses, it is bad when we overwear them, as sadly it will catch up with us!
Take it easy and rest your eyes.

as i have already mentioned, over time you will learn to live with and manage your limitations. burning your candle at both ends will cost you.
i went to glasgow with my 15 yr old daughter 2 weeks ago to see a concert, ( yeah i know its a long way from manchester), because i wasnt staying over , but driving straight back afterwards, got home about 4 in the morn, i forced myself to stay in bed until shortly before we were setting off and put my lenses in just half hour before about 2.00 in the afternoon, this way i could fit the whole trip in in my normal lens wear time .
just a little forward planning should alleviate some of your problems, unfortunately you will have to compromise though

If I need to wear lenses for over twelve hours I wear one lens at a time. Your vision changing from left to right does not take much getting used to.

Gareth is right, but I know that many people find the prospect of having to get used to looking through one eye and then the other quite disorienting.
It is like so many things in life: the thought of doing it is more difficult than the experience. For years I used to wear first one lens and then the other, swapping during each day to give both eyes a decent amount of time without a lens.
