Postby leggy84 » Thu 19 Apr 2007 10:43 am

Someone give me some advice please! Im having a really bad day with my contacts, i cant seem to have them in for more than 10mins today and my glasses are practically useless now. i'm scared to leave the house as i have become so dependent on my contacts and can't see a thing and the sun doesn't help either, lol!. What can i do?

Hi leggy,

Arrgh, know that feeling.

So that we can help what type of lenses do you wear and what solutions do you use?

Have you neutralised the solutions correctly?, got the cleaner off?, etc. Sorry if these are silly questions

Hi Eddie
thanks for replying. Im wear the combination lenses (the ones with the hard centre and softer edge) and i use complete moisture plus solution with Taurine. How do i neutralise the solution? I dont even know what that is.

Leggy

The other battle cry from us is if you are having problems and light sensitivity too get yourself down the eye casualty to make sure your eyes are OK, the lenses are OK.

Much better to cath an eye infection early rather than too late.

Leggy

Welcome to the forum. GB is usually right and on this occcasion, he is right again.

But, don't panic. Go along; have your eyes looked at and let them sort things out for you.

Yours aye

hi leggy

welcome to the forum

GB is of course right, better to be safe than sorry, cant take risks with KC, obviously make sure you take someone with you to lean on , just to be safe if you cant see.

unfortunately with KC we are prone to inexplicable "bad eye days" and this is hopefully the case for you and that normally you are pretty comfortable.

we all look forward to further postings

take care

mike

I dion't want you to worry about your exams. Just remember: it could be worse. It could be the rest of us who had to sit them!
