Big day next tuesday

Postby piper » Thu 05 Apr 2007 12:47 am

Hey group, I was (VERY) surprised to get a call today and to learn that I have a cataract procedure scheduled for next tuesday, and then the BIG TRIPLE PROCEDURE (don't know why they call it that...) consisting of the PK and new lens in the left eye on April 19th. Being self-employed this is about to break me, since nothing happens or sells when I am not there.....damn.

But, in the end, if I get my vision back it will be a risk well taken, I think. As usual, you all rock! Your information and support have been and continue to be the greatest.

Cheers, Piper

Good luck Piper, yet I think you will not need it, as it sounds like your in good hands over there from reading some of your posts.

Piper

All the best on Tuesday. If your big triple goes as well as my rather more leisurely approach to PK and Cataract operation in the same eye (spread over three years), then you will be right as rain in no time.

Sell more violins when you get back.

:D

We'll be thinking of you.

You guys certainly get on with things.

Hopefully, taking into account the nature of your business, your customers will wait a few weeks to take advantage of your skills.

All the best Piper.

Hi Piper.

Yes, The Best of luck for the forthcoming ops... as Andrew says, I'm sure your customers will be happy to wait for the higher quality product you'll be able to make with your better vision.

Here's hoping the next recovery is as quick as the first!!

John
