Continuous stitch removed - eventually!

After struggling with a loose stitch for months, my long awaited clinic appointment arrived today. My consultant took the stitch out in what seemed about 10 mins, I never felt a thing. I felt so good I popped in to see my work pals and went for lunch - big mistake. The numbing drops must have worn off and I hade to make my way home on the bus ( via a couple of chemists to get steroid and antibiotic eyedrops ) in considerable pain and my eye streaming. It was very sunny, which didn't help, as my sunglasses which I was sure were in my bag, were not! So I've had a bad afternoon, in the dark, dosed up on painkillers. But as you can see, cos I'm posting, feeling much better. Looking forward to a more comfortable time ahead!

I'm glad it's finally out Val. :D

When I had my continuous stitch out my eye was very sore and uncomfortable for a couple of days but recovered pretty quickly after that. I hope it's the same for you. :D

Val,

Really sorry to hear that you were in pain. It was good that the stitch has been removed just hoping that it heals well now.

Take care, love Sweet X x X

Sounds like the stitch was practically out itself.

Good to know you are feeling better.
