i think that there is a strong relationship between KC and self confidence.......so how does KC affect your self confidence???????? :roll:
for indeed,it is not the eyes that grow blind but it is the hearts which are within the bosoms that grow blind...

Short answer - pre graft it was rock bottom and all these years later even though my sight is good I still find face to face social interaction difficult.

Long answer - we'd be here all day so I'll spare you and won't go there. :D

It can be really hard when you can't see to be social! I sometimes have no idea who i am talking to!! LOL!!!

If I had agreed to being a victim of Keratoconus, I think my self confidence would have taken a dive. But I found it empowering to take control of the mangement of my condition so that, by and large my self confidence was not adversely influenced.

In 2004 it realy affected my self confidence, but after councelling and stress management it does not matter weather I can see or not. I have leant to beleive in my self and approach things and new situations ith confidence.

This means before where I would shy away from asking for help, I am now confident enough to ask and to do so with pride when I say I have a disability.
