Jay UK. My Brothers graft was done 10 years ago and didnt produce results expected. It is now failing due to its age.

Thank you to everyone for all your helpful comments. Its nice to know there is somewhere to go for information or just when it maybe getting you down. Knowing there is a good support network.

Its nice to hear from you all. Have a lovely Christmas. :D

Hi Tracey

Unfortunatly not much research has been done on grafts past ten years. There are many of us who have grafts that are 20 years old. My problem is with my cornea that the grfat is attached too.

Is your brother going to have a regraft?
Gareth

Hi Gareth,

No they have told him that a regraft is not viable. I'm not sure why. The doctors obviously know what they are talking about. :D
