driving at night

Hello All

I very rarely post, anyhow brief history, got KC in right eye very steep cannot have lenses due to disability and only dexteroty in 1 hand. I use glasses left eye very strong and is pulling me through.

Right here s my post. I have been concerned recently with driving at night, the strech of lights and the boom effect. I trawled here and found the tip about the clear windscreen. At the weekend i used a good glass cleaner and went to work. Hey presto great improvement. So whoever gave that tip thankyou thankyou thankyou. I feel more confident driving at night now.

I am still going to ask about a permanent tint in my constant wear glasses.

I prefer to drive at night. this may seem perverse, but I have always preferred driving in the dark, I don't know why. Nowadays I will go to great lengths to avoid driving in the day time.

I was out driving in the dark for quite a while today, and I found it absolutely fine. I think it just depends on how lon I have been wearing my lenses. Also, i made sure I lubricated the lenses and used some eye drops just for a little extra comfort, and I found it worked a charm!

Lens comfort does seem to play a big part in how sensitive to light we can be.

Now my lens comfort is much improved, the amount or times I need to wear the dark glasses and the level of tint necessary is much reduced all because of improved lens comfort.

How are the lessons going Amarpal?

I'm the other way around. Definitely cannot drive at night without lenses. Big splodgy hazy street light / headlight mess! Cannot judge distance at all.

Not a problem with lenses though.
