hey all hope you are doing well i am in a bit of a puzzle at the moment ive been having pain in the right eye for 3 days but im unsure as to go to casualty as i dont want to waste their time if its nothing.
i know i should really go and get it checked out but i may leave it a bit and see what happens.
the vision is distorted slightly but not severe.
what do you think i should do.
go to casualty or leave it and see what develops
thanks

James,
Sorry you are having eye pain. My local eye casualty ahve always told me that they would rather I wasted their time by getting pain checked out than go through all the stresses and trauma for all involved for something more sereous that could have been dealt with soone.
They said 'IF IN DOUBT GET IT CHECKED OUT'.
Based on that I would recomend getting it checked out even if it turns out to be nothing, it will at least put your mind at ease, especially with everything you have been through.
Never feel like you are wasting their time, the medical staff are their to help and that is why they do the job they do, is because they want to help the likes of us.
Sorry to be so abrupt, but I wish you all the best.
Good luck

Hi James
I've been the same for over a month now. My vision has deteriorated and my eye has been uncomfortable, I'm really struggling along with work etc. I've been to have it checked and they asked me to return the next week to have it rechecked and to go back if I feel the need.
I'd advise you to go, you aren't wasting anyone's time, you cannot be too careful.
Let us know how you get on.
