update
hi all
just thought id update, I am now 15 days post graft. ohh and im still not smoking (smugish). I had to go to the hospital today as my vision had become really cloudly blurry and it was clear blurry before that if that makes any sense at all !! so because of this new cloudyness i rang the ward I was on and they told me to go down today ..
well anyway did that and it turns out that id been having an allergic reaction to the 2 hourly drops that ive been using for the last 2 weeks !!!!. and they said that my cornea has some dry spots on it.. errm thats not that good is it ??
anyway they send me on my way with 4 lots of new drops and a new eye shield and visco tears as my grafted eye is really dry, and my un grafted eye is also a bit dry (sympathy it must be !!)
anyway i feel heaps better now (spech after the painkiller induced 5 hour sleep this afternoon .. and the errm pizza thats gonna be here any minute he hehe )
so just thought i would share my news
nicola

Nicola,
Good to know you are doing well.
I sometines think that the medics spend so much time treating our KC thhat dry eye gets overlooked. Most of my lesn wearing problems last year were put down to an elrgic reaction to the lenses, howvere once the dry eye was treated that alergic reaction went away! The two went hand in hand.
Many here with KC have dry eyes too which might be why people with KC rub their eyes and a link has been suggested regarding eye rubbing.
