Just been for assessment on my KC, found I have it in both eyes not only one. Dr Dya at East Grinstead has recommended intacs treatment for my left eye, but said as it it moderate/bordering severe i should have it done not to prevent or put off possible corneal graft later. Has anyone had this treatment or got any suggestions as to whether I should go ahead.

One thing you may want to take into consideration is that Intacs are reversible..unlike grafts......

What is your vision now?

All the best with this. it is really encouraging to know that, after a long delay, Intacs surgery is becoming more and more available.

jay is right: this is a reversable procedure, and does not exclude other management techniques being applied to your KC
