Sclerals and bubbles
Hi Susan! How nice of you to remember my problem with bubbles which has taken a long time to be sorted out. However, I have had a new right scleral lens made which is the exact shape of my eye. It is the full size scleral lens (as opposed to the mini scleral size) and I can confidently say it is the best thing since sliced bread! Although I am still struggling to get it in, once there, it is so comfy and my vision is so good I forget it's there! I have worn it for up to 7 hours so far and not a bubble in sight! It was definitely worth the wait and full marks to Ken as always for his perseverence! Best Wishes Shirley
